KEB Drive Controller COMBIVERT F6 APPLICATION with PROFINET and PROFIsafe
The COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers made by KEB Automation support the implementation of new machine designs with extended requirements in terms of capacity, communication and integrated safety.
With this drive generation, the operation of different motor types, real-time communication with the higher-level controller, the selection of drive-integrated safety functions or the cooling concept in the control cabinet can be individually adapted to the requirements of the machine manufacturer.
They combine the functionality of open-loop and closed-loop frequency inverters for asynchronous machines and dynamic servo controller features with high-efficiency sensorless control methods such as sensorless closed loop (SCL) and asynchronous sensorless closed loop (ASCL).
The COMBIVERT F6 is available for applications with single-axis controllers in the power range 2.2 kW to 450 kW.
The drives are equipped with a multi-real-time Ethernet fieldbus connection for PROFINET and PROFIsafe, which also supports EtherCAT, Powerlink and Ethernet/IP. The modular configurable safety functions, complying with IEC and ISO standards with motion-based, safe monitoring directly in the drive, complete the machine design.
The frequency inverter of the COMBIVERT F6 series completes the KEB product portfolio, offering a flexible, economic, latest-generation drive system.
