PROFINET & PROFIBUS Network Diagnostics Workshop

Bob Squirrell,
  • 23.09.2011

This new seminar addresses the key practical issues arising from the use of digital communications technologies in automated manufacturing and advanced engineering applications. Covering the use of PROFIBUS and PROFINET in key application areas such as packaging, printing, electrical and electronics assembly, robotics, automotive engineering, drives, mechanical handling and logistics, control systems and energy management, it focuses on the practical aspects of maintenance and diagnostics of  PROFIBUS and PROFINET installations. Supported by demonstrations and hands-on workshops of actual tools used in diagnosis and maintenance, the seminar is of great value to Production Engineers and System Engineers involved in operation, fault-finding and maintenance of modern automated factories and machinery.

Standardised in IEC 61158, PROFIBUS and PROFINET provide state of the art digital communications addressing all the needs of the manufacturing and materials handling industries, significantly lowering capital expenditure on installation, commissioning and maintenance. They offer unprecedented integration of automation, control, monitoring and safety systems using standardised and widely supported communications and networking solutions.

This seminar is ably presented by fieldbus specialists Andy Verwer of VTC, Mark Freeman and Peter Brown of Siemens Automation & Drives, Mark Cargill of MWH Consulting, Steve Dickinson of Pepperl+Fuchs, Xiu Ji of The PROFIBUS International Competence Centre, Trevor Martin of Hitex and Frank Iwanitz of Softing.

Attendance is free of charge to pre-registered delegates from the User community, i.e. companies that own, operate, design, build or maintain automated plant.

Seminars in this series always attract much praise:

“Very well presented and a lot of useful information” “Fantastic as always and very informative”

“Superb day for experience and information”

If you’d like to learn how to simplify your PROFIBUS or PROFINET system operation and maintenance … don’t miss this one-day Seminar!Certificate of Attendance While the seminar is free to attend, there is a nominal charge of £15 + VAT if you would like to receive an official Certificate of Attendance.More information and RegistrationSponsorship Opportunities (UK Members only)
