We're delighted to be exhibiting and presenting in the NEW Connected Manufacturing Zone at Advanced Engineering 2017, where our involvement in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 4.0 through PROFINET and IO-Link is particularly relevant.

We’ll be joining with other key supporters of UK industry including GAMBICA, EEF (The Manufacturers’ Association), BARA and GTMA. It is the UK's largest gathering of industry professionals.

“Now more than ever, industrial production is a key driver for innovation, productivity, growth and job creation” said Alison Willis, Advanced Engineering’s Event Director. “As we embark on this new revolution where disruptive technologies connect information technology and operational technology, Connected Manufacturing will catalyse the business and technology opportunities that exist between innovators, customers and suppliers - including those within IIoT, big data, automation and more. With exhibiting companies such as ABB, Staubli, Omron, Rockwell, Autodesk, and many more, Connected Manufacturing will showcase the products, software, systems, networks and enabling technologies that will help UK Industry embrace IIoT and Industry 4.0 and thus reap the rewards of increased productivity, product quality, profitability and employment opportunities.”

“We at PI UK are particularly pleased to have been invited to take such a high profile position at this industry-leading event. We are looking forward to showing why and how our technologies form the backbone of Connected Manufacturing”, commented Bob Squirrell, Chairman of PI UK.

See us on stand CM35 where we'll be demonstrating PROFINET and IO-Link.
